PE Celebrations – starting with a Football tournament
All pupils leaving Pentland Primary School are physically literate and with the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary to equip them for a healthy, active lifestyle and lifelong participation in physical activity and sport.
Pole Vault Day
The children had a brilliant day with Chris Kilty. All of KS1 and KS2 experienced the exhilarating sport of Pole Vault. The learnt the basic skills and every child was brave enough to Pole Vault! We are all looking forward to trying it again this year.
Pentland Girls Football Team
A big well done to our girl’s team who beat St. Josephs 9-1 and reached the semi-finals of the Middlesbrough World cup! More success will follow this year!
Football Tournament
Pentland Primary Year 3/4 boys and girls competed in the SCSS football tournament. They performed outstandingly well again, and reached the final, sadly losing 2-0.
Another excellent day nevertheless!
Billingham South vs Pentland
We have excellent relationships with the schools around our area, especially Billingham South.
Another excellent performance from Pentland, unfortunately Billingham South were victorious. Hopefully in the summer, Pentland can seek revenge!
KS1 Festival
The KS1 festival involved a carousel of activities that the children can participate in and engage them in physical activity.
The carousel of activities were; Hula Fitness, Frisbee, Skip2Bfit and much more.
They enjoyed every minute of it.
A Great Day at Northfield!
Class Newcastle spent a day at Northfield. The object of the day was to give Pentland pupil’s an idea of the types of clubs that are available in their area. It offered the children a taster session from a variety of clubs.
